International Overdose Awareness Day

International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event held on August 31st each year that aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have met with death or permanent injury as a result of drug overdose.  Join AMHS-KFLA and community members at two events organized by KFL&A Public Health: 10:30am at 115 Barrack Street in Kingston and 2:30pm where Highway 38 meets Highway 7 in Sharbot Lake.
