Changes to Vocational Services
As previously shared, AMHS-KFLA has discontinued the Vocational Rehabilitation Program, effective June 28th, 2019.
The Vocational Rehabilitation staff team has been focused on supporting current clients with their individualized care plans in preparation for the program’s conclusion.
Moving forward, clients of AMHS-KFLA who have identified vocational goals will be supported by their worker within the Case Management program, in collaboration with community employment service providers, and within our ACTT program via the team’s Vocational Specialist.
Referral partners will need to direct referrals for employment supports to other community partners, and can obtain information on available service providers through these and other sources:
South East Healthline online via www.southeasthealthline.ca or by calling 310-2222 (no area code required) 7 days a week.
2-1-1 via 211ontario.ca or by calling 211 from any phone.
On behalf of our agency and the staff of the Vocational Rehabilitation Program, thank you for your dedication to connecting clients to vocational rehabilitation over the years, and your support as we work to enhance clinical models of care across our region.
At any time, should you have questions about changes occurring to vocational rehabilitation services, please contact Julie Lambert, Clinical Services Supervisor at email@example.com or 613-328-0678.
