Client Advisory Committee

AMHS-KFLA’s Client Advisory Committee is comprised of clients of the agency working together, as peers, to create opportunities for social interactions among clients and to provide guidance for the organization on improving client-focused services.

The Client Advisory Committee’s objectives are to:

  • Provide client input into the functioning of the agency’s community mental health services and programs
  • Provide education on mental health and addiction related issues affecting the community
  • Provide advocacy for individuals accessing AMHS-KFLA services
  • Provide representation of persons with lived experience on the Board of Directors and advise the Board of Directors (or designate) on issues related to community mental health services as requested.
